Well, it's time to change your thinking.
In honor of St. Patrick's Day (and my own proud Irish heritage), I have complied a playlist of musicians who are Irish or play Irish Music. This playlist is ranges from Irish Pop music (B*Witched) to Irish Punk (Dropkick Murphy) to even Irish Country (Margo) To Irish Alternative (Hozier) and so much more. There are a few names and songs on the list that might be familiar to you but most of them will likely be new to you.
