Seal’s New Album, My #Seal7 Review #O2O

Seal reunited with longtime collaborator producer Trevor Horn, who he has worked with in the past on his debut, 1991’s platinum-certified Seal, continued with the quadruple-platinum Seal II [1994], the gold-selling Human Being [1998] and Seal IV [2003], and most recently Soul 2 [2011].

I really enjoyed listening to 7.  It was like a listening to different various stages of love. I love each song because they are so different. I enjoyed the instruments and beats that were used, that what makes Seal's sound so unique to me.  You can feel and hear Seal really pour his heart out in this cd. I am sure most of it is in reference to his break up with Heidi. In my opinion this is one of his best album to date. I love listening to Seal's music because of unique voice and sound but & has something different about it that I love even more and I can't pinpoint it. There something just a little bit different about Seal’s voice and his music and that could be it.

This is definitely an album I can and will play over and over because of the great mix of sounds and beats.  In my opinion, I feel 7 will appeal to all music fans.

#ThatWouldBeMe - Harry Connick, Jr.

Today, October 23rd, Multiple Grammy and Emmy-award winning musician Harry Connick, Jr. new album, That Would Be Me, dropped aka come out.  Harry stepped out of his comfort zone with this album and working with two amazing outside producers (Sam Smith, Adele, Florence And The Machine), and Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Pink, Weezer, Fall Out Boy). They may have different working styles but the album came together nicely.  It is never easy to work with new people who have a different style than your own but the result were while worth it!!

I don't own any Harry Connick Jr's album, even though I enjoy listening to all types of music. Different moods call for different songs. I have never been into smooth bluesy, jazz music that much, however I always thought Harry Connick Jr was a great singer and cool guy. This album has different changed my mind!! It is OUTSTANDING!!

Harry 's latest album, That Would Be Me, at times is a little gritty and at times I thought I was listen to Gavin DeGraw, one of my favorite musicians.  The album also filled with catchy upbeat love musical compositions as well as ballads but it has songs for just about every mood, from happy to sad. Which is why I love it so much!

“(I Like It When You) Smile”, will make you smile, it's is fun and flirty. It even features a rap by Harry, which surprised me. I loved it!!  “(I Do) Like We Do” has a bit of reggae feel to it which is neat made you feel like you're on a vacation( a short one:( ). A few other standouts are "Tryin’ To Matter" and “Songwriter” Ok, maybe the whole album :)

Check it out! You won't be disappoint!!!

We Love Disney!

Disney did it again!!

Disney collaborated with today's hottest and coolest musical artist; like Gwen Stefani, Jessie J, Jason Derulo and more for this magical CD, We Love Disney!!

I grew up on Disney movies and singing along to the songs and I still enjoy watching them and even singing along (once in awhile)  :)
If you're a Disney Fan you will LOVE this CD!!! You will have it on repeat in your car or  dancing around your house, like me, while playing it, especially if it's my favorite song "A Spoonful of Sugar" (Mary Poppins) sung by the incredible country artist  Kacey Musgraves. I lost count on how many times I have played it :)
Listening to We LOVE Disney was like a stroll down  memory lane for me with a few of the songs.  I loved every song on this compilation and still to this day every time I hear Rainbow Connection I still get a tear in my eye. I don’t know why but its by far my favorite song. Gwen Stefani did an amazing job with the song.

Classic favorite Disney songs are given a modern twist and they are amazing. I love how every songs suits the artists and that they really make the song their own!! Every song is amazing but I love how the Fall Out Boys rocked the jungle song The Monkey Song from The Jungle Book and Jessie J makes The Little Mermaid come alive in her version of Part of Your World.

What is your favorite Disney Movie song?

#Cinema - Andrea Bocelli #O2O

Andrea Bocelli is having quite a busy year. The Italian Italian classical tenor, recording artist and singer-songwriter was recently invited by Vatican officials to sing for Pope Francis on his historic visit to my hometown, Philadelphia. He has also been been busy with a major project, a new album of classic and famous movie songs, Cinema, which he produced with his longtime producers David Foster, Umberto Gattica and Tony Renis. Bocelli records duets with Ariana Grande and Nicole Scherzinger.

Listening to this album in advance was pure magic. Music and motion pictures are a love of mine, and Andrea Bocelli' Cinema is pure magic. Cinema by Andrea Bocelli features a collection of movie songs etched in the culture and hearts of several generations. When I listened to Cinema I was carried back in time to when heard these songs for the first time watching the movie. Cinema brings life to  famous theme songs from films such as  “The Godfather”, “Life is Beautiful”, “Gladiator”,  “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and many more. Songs such as MARIA from ‘West Side Story’ to NO LLORES POR MÍ ARGENTINA duet with Nicole Scherzinger from ‘Evita’.  This album is just incredible. It is simply pure magic.

Bocelli was quoted saying this “I’m fulfilling a wish that I’ve harboured for decades. I’ve never made a secret of my dream of bringing to life a recording project associated with soundtracks, as I truly believe that it’s an exceptional artistic treasure trove.”

It truly shows and it's a must!!!
