So I decided for every person that signs up for #SpringSWAPPALOOZA I will donate a $1 to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation an amazing foundation that funds research on pediatric cancer. Cause cancer sucks, and kids with cancer super sucks! This foundation was actually started by a young girl named Alex Scott, she herself wad afflicted with cancer but at the age of 4 she decided that she wanted to raise money to help pay for other kids to get treatment, so the lemonade stand was started. Unfortunately Alex would only be able to run the lemonade stand for a few years, in 2004 she passed at the young age of 8. But her legacy and mission lives on today with the lemonade stand foundation. I encouraged you to check out Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and help a tasty cause & receive a little treat yourself plus maybe make a new friend. I would say:

Our friend found a bump on her two year old's liver on Christmas day just over a year ago, they found out it was cancer on New Year's. Luckily after chemo and surgery he has no evidence of disease. But it is a scary thought that somebody so young could have such a life threatening cancer. This is a great cause, thank you for supporting children's cancer research!
